Dan Fowler has led a varied and interesting life. He is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University with a BA in Business Administration, and minors in Economics and Psychology. He is a member of the University Athletic Hall of Fame at ONU in 2 different sports, still holding 1 university record. Dan joined the US Marine Corp and did his basic training at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA. He was a member of the 1980 AAU basketball championship team. It is clear to see that Dan overachieves in every aspect of his life.
Career-wise, Dan spent more than 35 years in Informational Technology sales management. He was a North America National Sales Executive, a Federal Sales Manager and a consistent Presidents Club member. Dan was a participating force in taking 3 companies from private to public. He has owned his own commercial real estate practice, invested in multi-million dollar real estate properties, and has served on the board of his church.
Dan published his first book, “Strategic Growth in Inside Sales” in 2019 to share his knowledge and experiences of more than 35 years in the sales industry. He has been speaking to business owners, executives and general audiences across the US in a variety of forums. Sharing his knowledge is a passion of Dan’s, and he achieves this through writing, coaching and speaking. Dan and his wife, Jenny are on the Board of Talita Cumi Children’s home located in the heart of South America’s poorest country, Bolivia. The charity is home to a total of 30 boys and girls ranging in age from 4-18 years old. They live at the home because they are abandoned, at high risk of abuse, neglect and other dangers or are truly orphaned. Many of the children previously lived in prisons with their mothers and the fathers are unknown. The Home provides stability, safety, education and guidance. Dan and Jenny provide support for three of the children.
Dan has been married for over 40 years to his college sweetheart, Jennifer. They have two sons (Derek and David) and three grandchildren.
Dan Fowler got involved in coaching as a way to share his years of experience and wisdom with others who are facing many of the same challenges he faced. He enjoys helpings others overcome obstacles’ and achieve success.
